SLE (Emma)

I just wanted to let everyone know......

Emma will be going into 4th grade this year. She got a letter today asking if she would like to be in the SLE classes. We are very excited for her!

    Ok I am not 100% sure. ha ha I have to talk to the school and check everything out. But the letter says she is identified as Superior Congnitive gifted. She scored really high on the CogAT test they have to take. So the SLE (Supplemental Learning Experience classes) will be extra to her day. I think what it is, is she will be pulled out of class for a couple of hours a week and work with another teacher on activities. We will see. I know she gets really bored at school and then she pulls a book out of her desk to read and she gets in trouble so maybe this will just be a little bit more challenging for her.
